Whether you are currently employed or just thinking about making a job or career change, a career coach from Strategic Human Resources, Inc. can help you. Like a coach for an athletic team, we can provide you with the tools, strategies, and motivation to help you through a career or job change. Because everyone's coaching needs may vary, we have developed an assortment of options for you to choose from as detailed below. If you are interested in utilizing our coaching services, simply complete the "Request a Career Coach" form below and Strategic Human Resources, Inc.’s Coach will contact you directly.
This service is ideal for the individual that just needs help developing an effective resume that will help get them in the door for their next job opportunity. This service includes up to 5 hours of time to:
- Discuss your career goals and work history with you to get to know you and your interests.
- Develop a draft resume based on this discussion and any information you provide (i.e. a resume information sheet and/or a copy of your current resume with any additional related information).
- Discuss draft resume with you and make the necessary revisions for your final review.
This service is ideal for the individual that not only needs a resume but also needs on-going support throughout the job search process. This service includes the resume package listed above plus an additional 5 hours of strategic planning with the Coach for what you need most to guide you through the development of a job search plan which meets your career goals and needs, including:
- Networking
- Using social media in the job search
- Writing effective cover letters,
- Preparing for an interview,
- Evaluating your options,
- Negotiating the salary, or
- Other situations as they arise.
This service is ideal for the individual that isn't exactly sure what they want to do with their career and may even want to consider other options. This service includes:
- Consultant initially discussing your career goals and work history with you to get to know you and your interests.
- Consultant will provide you with the Myers Briggs Type Indicator instrument to complete.
- Consultant will discuss the results of the MBTI instrument in depth with you.
- Consultant will guide you through developing an action plan based on your results.
