Epic Credentialed Trainer

PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Credentialed Trainer is responsible for conducting Epic end user classroom training in an assigned application, with the assistance of a Subject Matter Expert and under the direction of a Principal Trainer, who has developed the training. The Credentialed Trainer is responsible for the set up of the training classes they are scheduled to facilitate and for quality control, including administering a proficiency assessment and class evaluation at the end of each session. The Credentialed Trainer will work closely with the Principal Trainer to improve the effectiveness of the training through feedback obtained in the classroom.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree preferred, in a related field is desirable.
EXPERIENCE: Two to three years experience facilitating classroom learning required. Healthcare and/or clinical experience preferred
SKILLS: Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook required. Strong people skills, effective communication, and organization skills required with experience in adult education desired. An ability to effectively adapt to changing circumstances required.
COMMITMENT: Approximately eight month temporary assignment. Evenings, nights, and Saturday availability as well as travel between multiple training sites within Cincinnati is required.
CREDENTIALING: Required to complete a six week train-the-trainer program and satisfactorily demonstrate proficiency facilitating learning in the assigned Epic application before a panel of evaluators.
