Description
Our client, a family-owned and operated home mechanical repair service provider, is seeking a talented, part-time Recruiter to recruit for its technician and customer service positions. This position will work closely with hiring managers, driving staff strategy and own full-cycle recruiting. This is a part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) position. Compensation is $25/hour.
Responsibilities:
•Manages the full-cycle recruiting process for technician and customer service positions.
•Proactively utilizes effective passive sourcing strategies to timely fill and plan for future openings.
•Continuously builds and sustains a high quality diverse pipeline of candidates.
•Ensure hiring manager and team preparedness during the interview process and that interviews are conducted efficiently and professionally.
•Evaluate candidate skill level, manage offer process, including reference checks, salary recommendations, offer letter generation and offer acceptance/declines.
•Negotiate offers by partnering with hiring manager, senior management, and other groups as necessary.
•Possess a wide range of experience on current external recruiting policies, practices and trends.
•Cultivate a network of referral sources, targeting former military and service industry candidates.
Requirements:
•BA/BS degree preferred.
•Minimum 3 years of proven recruiting experience.
•Previous experience sourcing and recruiting for technicians and/or customer service positions.
•Previous experience creating recruitment strategies that specifically target former military personnel.
•Active contacts within organizations utilized by active and former military personnel.
•Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands.
•Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
•Strong negotiation skills.
•Strong candidate assessment skills.
•Ability to develop and implement effective recruiting strategies.
•Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
•Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
•Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, applicant tracking systems and the internet as a recruitment resource.
